Visiting teams found it almost impossible to play against Peruvian soccer side los montanas, as the locals insisted on keeping their goal on the apex (left) for both halves of the game.  Los Montanas, whose uniforms were sponsored by Commonwealth Proper, claimed that FIFA rules did not apply at such high altitudes.
